Lee Clay Johnson
Lee Clay Johnson was born and raised around Nashville, Tennessee, in a family of bluegrass musicians. He holds an MFA from the University of Virginia and directs the Brooklyn Writers Foundry low-residency MFA program at St. Joseph's University. His novel Nitro Mountain was awarded the Prize for First Fiction by the American Academy of Arts and Letters. His second novel Bloodline was the first release of the new County Highway/Panamerica imprint. He is a contributor to 250 Great American Things (County Highway '26).
