Dr. Mary Osborne

Dr. Mary Osborne is coordinator of the Fay B. Kaigler Children's Book Festival, which takes place each spring on the campus of the University of Southern Mississippi. Her scholarly work focuses on body image and disability in young adult literature, and you can find some of her scholarly work in Southern Studies. In her spare time, she co-hosts the Book Squad Goals podcast. When not reading, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son (as well as the family's three stinky cats, Patrina, Gwen, and Pizza Roll).
