Stephanie is the co-owner of Stuckey's, the iconic roadside brand known for its pecan log rolls. Founded in 1937 by her grandfather, W.S. Stuckey, Sr., the company grew to over 350 stores by the 1970s before being sold in 1964. Today, it's back in family hands-and staging a nostalgic yet modern comeback.
Stephanie earned both her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Georgia. She's worn many hats: trial lawyer, seven-term Georgia state representative, CEO of an environmental nonprofit law firm, Director of Sustainability for the City of Atlanta, and adjunct law professor at UGA.
She purchased Stuckey's in November 2019, and under her leadership, the brand has been revitalized as a CPG company focused on pecan snacks and candies. The comeback story has been featured in The New York Times, The TODAY Show, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal-and even earned a tweet from Martha Stewart.
