R. J. Lee
A Natchez, Ms native, R. J. Lee graduated from Sewanee (U. of the South) with a degree in English and Creative Writing, taking courses under Andrew Lytle. He has had 16 novels published since 1992, 14 of them of the small-town or cozy mystery variety from Putnam and Kensington in New York. The Majestic Leo Marble is his 17th novel--the first to address in semi-autobiographical fashion the role he played in the early gay civil rights movement in New Orleans, where he lived for thirty years.
