Joe Lee
Originally from Jackson, Mississippi, Joe Lee is a graduate of Mississippi State University and has a background in radio, television, and journalism. He has written more than 1,500 features and news stories for newspapers and magazines all over Mississippi, and he has penned nine suspense novels, the last seven of which are part of his acclaimed Oakdale suspense series in north Mississippi. Jacktown USA, co-authored with Kamel King and published by Republic Books in June 2025, is his third work of non-fiction.
