Judy Long
Judy is an editor and writer and the owner of the Byhalia Agency. She has more than three decades of experience in bookselling and publishing. Long managed the legendary Old Black Dog Bookstore in Athens, Georgia, and was a founder and editor-in-chief of Hill Street Press, an independent literary publisher. She served on the Georgia Center for the Book Advisory Board and currently serves on the Board of the Stanley W. Lindberg Award for Lifetime Achievement in Letters in the state of Georgia and on the Vic Chesnutt Songwriter of the Year Awards Committee. Her writing has appeared in Flagpole Magazine, The Georgia Review, and Oxford American. She is the editor of numerous anthologies, including Literary New Orleans.
