Dr. Pace is a historian of the US in the world who specializes in the fog of war. He is currently a DPAA Research Partner Fellow and Postdoctoral Researcher in Military History in the Dale Center for the Study of War & Society at the University of Southern Mississippi. Dr. Pace completed his PhD in US history at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2023 and he is now working on his first book manuscript about the reversal in American grand strategy and ethics from victory at all costs in World War II to peace at any price in the Vietnam War. He is currently a podcast host for the Diplomatic History Channel on the New Books Network, and he has worked as a brick-wall genealogist for Ancestry. His teaching focuses on US foreign relations, morality and war, World War II, the Cold War, and the history of soccer. Dr. Pace also holds an MA in social sciences from the University of Chicago, and an Honors BA in history from the University of Utah.
