Tony Jones
Tony is the author of The God of Wild Places: Rediscovering the Divine in the Untamed Outdoors and an award-winning outdoors writer. He is a theologian and former pastor who has written a dozen books and scores of articles, both academic and popular. He teaches writing at the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis. He guides canoe trips in the BWCA and writing retreats in Italy, and serves on the board of the Minnesota chapter
of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers. He holds an A.B. from Dartmouth College, an M.Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. from Princeton Theological Seminary. Tony is married, has three grown children and two dogs, and lives in Edina, Minnesota.
