Dexter Allen
Grammy® Award winner Dexter Allen hails from Crystal Springs, MS. Raised in a musical family, he began playing bass at 12 and later became lead guitarist for Bobby Rush. He launched his solo career in 2007 with the award-winning album Bluezin My Way and went on to release several acclaimed albums. He appeared in the James Brown biopic Get On Up and has recorded extensively, including with Bobby Rush on the Grammy-winning All My Love For You (2024). Dexter now tours internationally, captivating fans with his blend of blues, R&B, soul, and funk.
