Joey Garrison

Joey Garrison is a White House correspondent for USA TODAY covering President Joe Biden. Garrison's reporting has centered largely on Biden's domestic agenda, including historic climate and infrastructure funding and efforts to rebuild U.S. manufacturing. Garrison is also covering the 2024 presidential campaign after previously reporting on the 2020 election. Garrison, a native of Nashville, Tenn., was an award-winning political reporter for The Tennessean from 2012 to 2019, covering local and state politics. Garrison previously worked at the Nashville City Paper and for a period as a USA TODAY national correspondent based in Boston.
